Deciphering Room Numbers With Joy Tani at Evergreen Valley College

<p>Joy has joined the staff of Silicon Valley Code Camp this year to help with all the preparation necessary to move an event of thousands of people (that's us) to a new location (that's Evergreen Valley College).  It's amazing the number of things we have to track and having Joy around to help has been amazing.</p>

Joy has joined the staff of Silicon Valley Code Camp this year to help with all the preparation necessary to move an event of thousands of people (that's us) to a new location (that's Evergreen Valley College). It's amazing the number of things we have to track and having Joy around to help has been amazing. From ordering tents and dumpsters, to pricing T-shirts, to making sure we have enough food at the Saturday speakers and volunteers BBQ, there is seemingly an unlimited number of tasks. Joy's experience as an engineering manager at Sun and program manager at TiVo helps her to understand how we think and make sure we don't screw up too badly.

In this short video, Joy seems to have decoded one of the buildings room number systems. Let's see if she got it right when we actually use the rooms in this building for SV Code Camp next week. I'm sure you'll meet Joy sometime over the SV Code Camp weekend proudly wearing her SV Code Camp yellow staff polo shirt.
