Speaking Sessions

  • Cracking the Product Manager Interview

    11:15 AM Saturday   Room: 5015
Product managers are sometimes called the "CEO of a product." But what is a product manager really and how you do you land this role? This talk will discuss what a product manager is, how the role differs across companies, what sort of experience an aspiring PM should cover, and what the PM interview is like and how to master it. This will not be your fluffy be-your-best talk; it will tackle the specific types of interview questions and how to handle them.

  • Cracking the Coding Interview

    1:45 PM Saturday   Room: SmithWick
CS interviews are a different breed from other interviews and, as such, require specialized skills and techniques. This talk will teach you how to prepare for coding interviews, what top companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft really look for, and how to tackle the toughest programming and algorithm problems. This is not a fluffy be-your-best talk; it is deeply technical and will discuss specific algorithm and data structure topics.
