About This Session
Archetype will delve into the principles associated with Metro, the design paradigm for Windows 8. We will discuss the design guidelines with regards to areas such as layout, navigation, typography, media, and live tiles. We will also walk through the tools and processes for designing rich, beautiful and immersive applications in HTML5/CSS and XAML. In this session, we will demonstrate and discuss designing a real application that meets the requirements of Metro and at the same time differentiates your brand in the Windows 8 ecosystem and marketplace.
