I have designed and created "Download and Go" version of an IBM software which helped customers running IBM Information Governance Catalog with a delightful experience doing it. I have created self served apps for Mac and Windows (Linux coming soon) that orchestrated deployment of the IGC software using docker container on customer's laptop.
